Dalea | Coach

Dalea Nodal is an assistant instructor at Smart Girl Self Defense and a certified USCCA firearm instructor. She’s also one of the leaders for the Armed Women of America, Albuquerque chapter.

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico Dalea has a BS in Biology and a BA in English. Dalea worked at UNM and Sandia National Laboratories and had a career focused in science for many years. Feeling a need to expand her education and ability to defend herself and her family, Dalea started to train in MMA and learn about firearms several years ago. She has a unique perspective, easily relating to those who didn’t grow up with firearms. Her specialty is in adaptation, helping make the uncomfortable comfortable. Dalea is passionate about educating, supporting, and empowering women to help them gain more confidence in themselves. She is honored to be a part of such an incredible team that shares her passion for growth and excellence.
